Origins of an Icon

In 1988, we combined the best parts of 2 different sneakers to create the 1500. We didn’t put much into advertising, but that didn’t stop people from finding and wearing it. And before long, the 1500 evolved from a running shoe into the first true go-anywhere sneaker.
